Dr Sheeraz Akram is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Computer Science & Information Technology, Superior University Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his Postdoctoral Research Training from University of Pittsburgh, USA and worked on a project funded through grant U01 HL137159. Dr Sheeraz completed STEM Certification and Certification of Leading People in Organization from University of Pittsburgh, USA. He completed his PhD in software engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan and Master of Science in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Lahore Pakistan. Dr Sheeraz has worked at various universities and trained undergraduate and graduate students from industrial, academia and research. He attended multiple conferences and workshops both at national and international level. Dr Sheeraz published his work in international conferences and journals. He has been awarded by Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan with a Travel Grant in 2016. He has experience of 15 years of working at universities which includes 3 years of international research experience. Dr Sheeraz’s research interests include Data Science, Medical Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence in Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision and Digital Image Processing.
